As the villagers collect money for Trilochani's lost chain, Shankar plans to expose her by proving her fakeness and greediness before everyone but he is shocked upon learning about Trilochani's refusal to the amount collected. Trilochani comes to know that Arundhati is receiving money as compensation for that chain so she stops Arundhati from accepting money from the villagers and reveals the truth that the chain was not stolen but has been donated by her to an old couple.
