After realising the value of the ring, Trilochani goes to the hospital to confront Shankar and ask him to return the ring but when she does so, Shankar mocks her and refuses to return the ring at any cost, despite her begging him to do so. Later, Trilochani anyhow gets the ring back on its own by the grace of Maa Tarini.
